Wow. Follow the money. “Dr. Ayoade Alakija…said Moderna’s attitude amounted to: ‘We’re here to make money. We’ve stumbled upon a good thing, and we’re not even trying to pretend that we’re trying to save the world.’”nytimes.com/2021/10/09/busin…

"Politicians have prioritized the desires of the wealthy over the needs of regular people. We bail out banks without thinking twice but when people need real relief, it gets stalled with partisanship and power games." Let's support @DerekMarshallCA! derekmarshallca.com

But there is always hope. To me, hope is a moral imperative. Cynicism is just an excuse for not helping.

Keep thinking it. What you just described was a period of a little over 20 years, and that’s not all that long when you’re talking about the time it takes for the kind of massive political awakening that’s needed here.

In a country being ravaged by a corporate aristocracy willing to see people die rather than countenance the diminishment of their profit margin, we don’t yet have a political container for true anti-corporatist pushback. But that will be the next big thing … and it will prevail.

We must take notice of this. It’s outrageous and unacceptable.
A MUST read. The kind of journalism we need. Please engage with it and share it with others. propublica.org/article/black…

Yep.
Pharma has spent hundreds of millions opposing our efforts to lower prescription drug costs. Meanwhile, the six major drug companies made $50 billion in profits last year and pay their CEOs outrageous salaries. We must stop Pharma greed and pass the Reconciliation Bill.
