Yes, but nonviolence requires that we inconvenience the system while remaining non-violent towards individuals. The Montgomery bus boycott did inconvenience individuals but the intent was to inconvenience the bus company itself. People were correct to criticize my lack of nuance.

The way to reduce America’s dependence on Russian oil and gas is to inaugurate a warp speed effort, using the Defense Production Act, to transition in a just way from a dirty to a clean economy. Whoredom to autocratic states and further destruction of the earth is not the answer.

I understand, but you should not have had to. This country should be investing in higher education for the sake of the whole society. The fact that one generation is bound doesn't mean that the next generation shouldn't be freed.
