Like tax breaks for the ultra rich, corporate subsidies, thousands more nuclear bombs, and profits for the military industrial complex.

No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. Dear God, we have gone insane.
Experts say a new generation of less destructive nuclear arms may make the prospect of a nuclear strike less unthinkable than it once was. nyti.ms/36iq0Tl

It should be free.
People are dying because they can't afford their insulin. I applaud @SenatorBaldwin's efforts to cap the price of insulin - with no help from Ron Johnson. upnorthnewswi.com/2022/03/21…

Wish they were in the picture but it’s perfect as it is.

I’m proud to endorse @NelsonforWI for Senate in Wisconsin. Wisconsinites have a great opportunity to replace an inexcusably white nationalist Ron Johnson. This one is important for all of us.
.@marwilliamson has been a champion for cleaning up a corrupt Washington and has earned a devoted following thanks to her fearless moral vision of a better society. I’m very proud and honored to have her endorsement!

But 7000? How does having 7000 help us anymore than having 500? By the time you drop 100, it’s over for humanity as we know it. $634 billion over the next 10 years has nothing to do with creating more safety. This is about profit for the nuclear industry, not security.

3/ How is our having so many nuclear warheads helping us now? Dropping 50, max, would be enough to pretty much destroy the world. The trillions of $ we have already spent on nuclear bombs has almost nothing to do with our security. When this Ukrainian horror is over, #BanTheBomb.

2/ We’ve been told for years that the legitimacy of the arms race lies in the principle of Mutually Assured Destruction, the idea that no one would drop a nuke if they were aware that someone else could do it too.

1/ If the current situation in Ukraine shows anything, it’s the complete bankruptcy of our nuclear arms strategy. We’re now scheduled to spend $634B nuclear bombs over the next 10 years, and we already have approximately 7000 nuclear warheads already.

Then how do you explain China? Same landmass, 4 x more people, amazing high speed rail, and universal healthcare. Somebody has been feeding you bunk.
