The child tax credit is big, universal pre-K Is big, paid family leave is big, universal childcare is big, going after monopolies is big. Not saying that’s enough, just pointing out that they’re big

.@POTUS has undone many of the worst legacies of the former administration. The appeal for Julian Assange's extradition should be one of them. #FreeAssange #FreeedomOfThePress laprogressive.com/preliminar…

And we need more! We should have a cabinet level Department of Children and Youth. We should massively front end our resources in the direction of children, and every public school in America should a palace of culture, learning and the arts.

I know that to be true. My parents took us traveling when we were kids, and the fact that I met people from all over the world at a young age kept me from being open to a lot of propaganda I might have otherwise been vulnerable to later in life.

It's not enough to say we're "against violence;" we have to stand for non-violence. Violence is more than overt physical attack. Psychological & emotional violence are also violence. Adults getting bullied on the Internet is as much a problem as kids getting bullied at school.

When everything's falling apart in a fast and complicated way, the answer lies in returning to that which is slow and simple. We need to problem-solve from a different level of brain wave functioning. Mindfulness & forgiveness change the world by changing us.

A legitimate question. But then that means your problem is with paying taxes, not specifically with what those taxes pay for.
