I think there’s a lot of it. Look at all of those healthcare workers sacrificing every day, the protesters at pipelines and immigrant detention centers and courthouses. People are good, here just like everywhere.

President Johnson signed the Voting Rights Act 56 years ago today. Over the last few years the John Roberts led Supreme Court has gutted it; it’s up to today’s president and Congress to put back in place the protections it bestowed and which should never have been removed @POTUS

In Fulton County eviction court today: tenant says he’s approved for rental assistance but payment hasn’t been made. Judge won’t reset case and gives him 10 minutes to check with case worker, who says payment may take 7-14 days. Landlord then asks for eviction. Judge approves.
