They think progressives lose elections, that the American people would prefer a Republican lite to a real alternative to the Republican agenda. Although if people want Republican lite, why wouldn't they just choose a Republican?

You had a good 7th grade teacher. We need millions more like her.

He didn't need to be able to extend it unilaterally. He needed to get Congress to work on it before only 3 days were left before it expired.

I cannot for the life of me understand their lack of urgency.
"Two weeks for Dems to pass redistricting reform before the GOP gerrymanders them out of power for a decade in Congress and at the state level," said @WalkerBragman. cdreams.news/3fpmV5s

"But no matter how hard we worked, we could barely get by. And that's exactly why I'm running for Congress. No matter how hard we all work we always seem to struggle and that's a journey the people in our country & the folks of my district know all too well." @Salem4Congress

Even if longer, it would’ve been the correct and the successful way to handle all this.

Shocked and sorrowful this morning to hear of the death of @gurujagat11. The yoga community and all of us it touches will be far less without her. She was truly a blessing and I will miss her.

It's not about the size of govt, but about its function. Before 1980's we had a fair enough balance between public & private investment, not perfect but working for the average worker. Since then a massive transfer of wealth has put the vast majority of wealth in the hands of 1%.
