Exactly who is the government carrying, other than Big Oil, Big Ag, Big Pharma, insurance companies, gun manufacturers, big food & chemical companies and defense contractors? No medical, college, higher min wage or college loan cancellation - hardly "carrying" people.

They said the person had to be 35 yrs old & born here & had to have lived here for 14 yrs. If they had wanted to say the person had to be a lawyer, businessperson, House member or Senator or Governor then that they would have. They were too smart for that. They saw the trap there

You’re the one here who seems to have no clue how the government operates and if the founders had wanted to make previous government experience a qualification for running for the presidency they would have. They wanted every generation to determine what was needed in their time.

While you are “searching for solutions” millions of those vulnerable renters are being traumatized as a direct result of failed leadership on this issue. You search… but never find. In far too many cases it’s what we have come to expect.

Ensuring every American has a roof overhead is a value that unites the Democratic Party. That's why I led a relentless campaign to extend the CDC eviction moratorium. In an act of pure cruelty, Republicans blocked this measure — leaving children and families out on the streets.
