We should all adopt this distinction. He’s totally correct.
It’s not “private” healthcare - let’s call it what it is.
It’s corporate healthcare. And it’s exactly why the United States has one of the worst healthcare systems despite spending more on healthcare than any other country. #MedicareForAll

NASA is not a capitalist venture. I’m not pro-capitalist or anti-capitalist or pro-socialist or anti-socialist because those words have become almost meaningless, but facts are facts. NASA is not a capitalist venture and it doesn’t “exist because of capitalism.”

The space program IS a socialist institution, for all intents and purposes. As is public schools, and police departments, and fire departments. Private and public funding both have a place in life; stop demonizing the public sector. It's childish, ignorant and dangerous.

You don't think there are Russian billionaires??(This isn't communist Russia in the '60's ). In Vietnam btw they dispensed free rice to everyone on street corners during the pandemic. America didn't do some bang up great job. Re the moral responsibility of wealth you & I disagree

You don't feel that much $ comes with responsibility? All privilege comes with responsibility, whether you earned the privilege or not. Anti-union - & during a pandemic?!? He could have filled every food pantry during the pandemic & not even felt it. And Amazon is a monopoly btw.

But there's a context here. We're still in a pandemic where millions died while Bezos, Zuckerberg, Musk etc vastly increased multi-$B fortunes. They had the chance to prove to the world that when situations are that critical the megacapitalists would come through - & they did not
