I can see why you would say that but I don’t feel that way at all. I just know how the system works and if you don’t stay on top of it then they’ll incrementalize everything to such a degree that no fundamental change occurs.

Because 1) children aren’t old enough to vote so they form no constituency 2) they aren’t old enough to work so they have no financial leverage & 3) our political & economic systems were devised before women had a voice in the public sphere. We have one now & we need to speak up!

Our greatest natural resource is the brain of a child before the age of five. The most powerful thing we could do to turn America around over the next 20 years would be to massively front end our resources in the direction of prenatal and early childhood wellbeing and education.
