“We’re here to support policies that center love & justice, not conflict. Greed & exploitation & progressive issues are all tied together, whether … housing, health care, wages, education, the environment or foreign policy. This is all one and the same.” @CallForCongress

Our problem is not just the prevalence of mass shootings; equally tragic is our inability to override the undue influence of the NRA, making almost inevitable that there will always be more.
My son, Dylan, was shot at least 5 times in his classroom at Sandy Hook Elementary. He died at just 6 years old. Yet in the years since, not nearly enough has been done to save lives like Dylan’s. Sign our petition demanding action to prevent school shootings. -Nicole

I’m not sure about that. I agree about the photo ops, but core to any leadership skill is spending enough time on the ground.

She has gone to Latin America already. And it’s Biden, not Harris, visiting with the queen of England this weekend.

She should be looking into the symptoms as well as the causes. All are interrelated. Very complicated, but trying to figure it all out is what leaders do. And you can’t just do it from Washington or from a presidential palace in Latin America. Nothing like being on the ground.
