I voted for it over Trump, which I would do again under the same circumstances.

Biden is not a king, he’s president. Of course he is 1000 times better than Trump and I supported him during the campaign. But the idea that we shouldn’t ever disagree, even when we believe what he’s doing will give the Republicans a win in 2022, is not the way democracy works.

You took out a loan and you paid it back?

I think the overemphasis on STEM was at the expense of the humanities, art, civics and history. This has had a devastating impact on our society.

$15 an hour minimum wage: gone the way of the forgotten. Medicare4All: we don’t even have a chance. Cancellation of college loan debt: too bad, everybody. But bipartisanship? They’re trying so hard!

I’ve learned the hard way that this is not a conversation to try to have on Twitter. These are my beliefs. google.com/amp/s/www.newswee…

The birds are a way of reminding ourselves that suffering is not the only constant. Beauty is a constant. Nature’s miracles are a constant. Love is a constant. 💖

I believe Jews should have a homeland, yes. I also believe the Palestinians should have a homeland. Both.

Why is @POTUS doing more to please Republicans who want only to defeat his agenda, than to save millions of people in this country who are drowning in medical and college loan debt? #ServethepeopleJoe.

No, the Founders created a system to avoid mob rule. The filibuster is not needed for that.

What?
Another scary example of how the pro-corporate Federalist Society (@FedSoc) exercises control not only over the Supreme Court and our federal judiciary, but also over top law schools like Stanford. @Chevron and Judge Preska are major leaders of the Federalist Society.

We should be afraid of it, which is why we should get rid of the filibuster. If the Democrats don’t get rid of it they won’t be able to do the things more likely to guarantee them holding onto the House and Senate.

We have a Constitution with plenty of checks and balances. The filibuster wasn’t even introduced until 1806 and even then for racist purposes. It should not be treated as a sacred check on unfettered power.
