Read my books and tell me that. Read my campaign platform and tell me that. I've put a lot more skin into the game trying to call out the American empire than just putting it on twitter.

I appreciate that. You spoke it respectfully and that is all I ask.

I have positions on Israel that are very much to the left of center. I simply think it should have the right to exist, that’s all. I understand the conundrum and most Palestinian activists that I know at least understand the conundrum as well. Twitter is a different kind of silo.

No, I absolutely can say it. And I have spoken it in Israel. (South Africa was an apartheid state - and it is no longer).

My friends who are Palestinian citizens of Israel call themselves Arab Israelis.

Replying to @mhmswipethtcard
I certainly get that that’s your view. Israel would not exist.

I appreciate your sincerity. Thank you.

"I was thrown into the school to prison pipeline & incarcerated in juvenile detention for skipping school, running away from home and essentially suffering from mental health issues." Now she’s a powerful Congressional candidate who KNOWS WHAT NEEDS TO CHANGE. @MeetMckayla

I have argued extensively for the rights of Palestinians. I realize people say whatever they want on Twitter but the truth is true. You will not find any other presidential candidate in 2020 who spoke about it as I did, arguing the need for different US policies visa vis Israel.

Yeah. Bernie’s article about Israel is very right on to me. It’s true to my heart. google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes…

It means that there’s a limit to how much I can argue in 280 characters.

Your tweet says so much. Yet you call me unfair and unjust.

It is different because the state of Israel was established as a safe place for Jews to go in the case of anti-Semitic horrors such as the Holocaust, when Jews tried to escape and were turned away by other countries. That does not, however justify the oppression of Palestinians.

I believe it’s possible for there to be a Jewish state that is not a Jewish “supremacist” state.

As the worst kind of tragedy and horror.
