I wasn’t duped by anything. I’m old enough to remember when Republicans were the ones who drew the line with Nixon. The Republican party surrendering to Trump even now is a terrible thing. Cheney signals to a lot of Republicans that they need to draw a line & that’s a good thing.

This should include world-class technical schools as well.
An education should be free for all — from the first day of pre-K to the day of college graduation.

Go Elizabeth!
Prescription drug prices are crushing families. The federal government could bring costs down—way, way, way down—by publicly manufacturing key medications like insulin, EpiPens, and HIV/AIDS drugs. We can put Washington on the side of families, not Big Pharma.

Class warfare is what the wealthiest interests in this country have been waging against the poor for the last 40 years.
Class warfare is Jeff Bezos buying a $500 million, 416-foot yacht after working overtime to deny Amazon workers a union to negotiate for better wages, benefits & working conditions. If there's gonna be class warfare in America, it's about damn time the working class won that war.

I’m saying there is a cultural premium on politeness in Japanese society, with which his personality seems strikingly at odds.

If anytime someone disagrees with you politically they’re “fucking dead” to you, you’re gonna have a really stressful life my friend.

The Japanese and Rahm Emanuel are a really weird mix of personality types.

I feel the same way about you, Jesse. And a lot of times I agree with your point even when we don’t draw the same conclusion. We don’t just learn from people we always agree with. x

To you perhaps. I see it differently. Someone I disagree with on issues took a stance I think is hugely important, one that absolutely must be seen by enough Republicans as well as Democrats if we’re to keep Trump forces is out of power going forward. Damn right it’s worth saying
