So you think that’s a reason not to release the patent?

We are leaving millions of people to die horrible deaths for no other reason than the protection of big pharmaceutical company profits. The usual suspects of sociopaths in business suits are trying to argue that it’s actually a good idea.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes…

I thought Jared Kushner left the White House, but I guess I was wrong. His ghost lives on in every voice that argues for the life of the marketplace over the life of a human being. #DontListenToThemJoe

Many people are already less safe, their lives already diminished because of crony capitalism run amok in this country over the last 40 years. A virulent strain of capitalism, one completely untethered to ethical principle, is far from the romantic ideal of a market based economy

UBI is a good idea but you have to look carefully at someone’s policy. Some people have suggested UBI but supported removing other aspects of the social net, which nullifies the whole thing.

During my presidential campaign I gave a talk in rural Tennessee. I remember it was a big restaurant that had a stage on it and the place was packed and people were so great. There are a lot of wonderful people in the South. Something new is blossoming there.

There are many countries that have a better standard of living than we do. Switzerland, Germany, Canada, Sweden, Australia, Japan, Denmark and quite a few more...
