Our voting is already secure and violent protest is already a criminal act. Nobody’s buying your ruse.

Our voting system has integrity, rioting is already a criminal act, and violent protesters are already arrested. So there.

True. The Christianity of today is not the Christianity of the Inquisition. But the Inquisition did occur.

If you’re passing voter suppression laws, criminalizing peaceful protest and legalizing violence against protesters, you’re not just a party that’s “run out of ideas.” You’re a party bent on destroying our democracy if that’s what it takes for you to remain in power.

Having been through so much myself, I just want you to know that every time some arrogant, misogynistic person criticizes you for something that isn’t even who you are but just their projection onto you, I send you a little love.

Wait. Who do you think we would be taking it away from? It would come from the US treasury.

Roosevelt wanted to get into the war sooner but there was a lot of resistance to it at home, not that much different from the way things work now. Pearl Harbor changed that. Congress then declared war after his “Day of Infamy” speech.

Some people only want to talk about what America has done right and have no listening for the terrible things we need to atone for and correct. Others only want to talk about the terrible things we've done and have no listening for what we've done right. Both are wrong.

How much did it do for the citizens of Europe to help defeat the Nazis...? Really...?

No, because it's not a zero sum game. People with money in their pocket then spend that money, creating more jobs just by doing so.

If we'd remove the shackles of college loan debt off their backs, millions of our young people would live their own entrepreneurial dreams. They themselves would create jobs!

I would agree with that.

Yeah, imagine knowing anything at all about World War II. You might wanna read the second sentence.

The fact that I don’t agree with you about something doesn’t mean that I should delete the tweet. And the fact that you don’t seem to have a lot of understanding of what World War II was doesn’t mean that I’m wrong and you’re right.
