Maybe it is in your mind, not in mine.

Not true. There were Allied powers: USSR. Europe. The United States. No one’s sacrifices or blood and treasure mattered more than anyone else’s.

Since it’s my Twitter page, shouldn’t you be the one to stop?

Not true. And we defeated him together, along with European allies as well.

The US government didn’t put a price tag on how much it was willing to pay to defeat Hitler, and it shouldn’t put a price tag on how much it’s willing to pay to mitigate climate change. Money should not be the determining factor in defeating an existential threat.

My point is that you don’t put a price tag on how much you’re willing to pay to fight off an existential threat.

Japan was an equal enemy, not the main enemy - no one “forgot that” - and the USSR & the United States were allies in World War II along with Europe. There’s no contest here for whose blood and treasure mattered more.

Spirituality is a very different thing than religious doctrine or dogma. And in fact it is not “supernatural,” so much as a deeper understanding of what is in fact natural.

Leaving what you call “electoralism” out of the equation is ridiculous. Unjust policies are created by people in political power; those policies will only be repealed & replaced by good policies if there are different kinds of people in office.

It’s not “rather than” evolutionary pressures. Spirituality and science are not mutually exclusive portals into a deeper understanding of the universe.

I don’t think science is antithetical to religion at all. But “Spend more time supporting nature?” What does that even mean? The environmental crisis by the way derives much less from lack of study of nature & much more from the fact that not enough people stand in awe before it.

You’re confusing religious dogma with spiritual principle.

No, I’m saying that is incredible as Leonardo da Vinci’s brain and talent were, there remained a Leonardo da Vinci.
