Millions more suffered the same injustice. It’s a very sad thing to realize ... but important.

Tho celebrating the legalization of marijuana we should take a moment to remember the terrible suffering & injustices its criminalization caused to begin with. The Drug War in its entirety has done terrible damage to this country. Let’s end it completely. nytimes.com/2021/03/31/nyreg…

Why not all those things plus the federal government? Why should we keep it out of this?

Because I want the security and human rights of both Palestinians and Israelis to be respected? That’s weird to you?

The president’s job is to conceive, articulate and make policy prescriptions based on expanding what’s right, repairing what’s broken, and creating greater possibilities for generations to come. Standing for positions that will help people thrive. Much bigger job than management.

Got that right.
How will Biden pay for the skinny $2.5 trillion infrastructure plan? A 21% to 28% increase in the corporate tax rate; make money in tax havens taxable; end tax breaks & subsidies for the fossil fuel industry; increased IRS enforcement on corporations; millions of new jobs.

“Seizing and destroying” are not positive actions. Positive actions mean progressive policies: changing tax law & financial regulations, ending corporate subsidies, getting $ out of politics, universal healthcare, canceling college debt, free college and other structural changes.

In this case, it’s not about money in a bad way. It’s about money in the sense that these companies support the economy of a state in such important ways because they employ a lot of people. So this is just about pressure from public and customers; it’s a good thing.

Good. Now we need to hear from Coca-Cola, UPS and Home Depot. Make calls, people!
Here is @Delta memo from CEO on Georgia voting bill: “I need to make it crystal clear that the final bill is unacceptable... The entire rationale for this bill was based on a lie: that there was widespread voter fraud in Georgia in the 2020 elections. This is simply not true”
