I read Marx when I was 20 years old. All the people thinking I just haven’t gotten to it yet is pretty amusing to me.

800 million people in the world are hungry today yet there’s no dearth of food; we could produce and distribute enough that no person on earth went hungry. The deeper problem isn’t how many are hungry; the problem is how many who are not hungry find the hunger of others tolerable

You’re free to have the blue one or the green one or the red one. And if you don’t like those you can have the blue one or the green one of the red one. And if you don’t like those you can have the blue one or the green one or the red one.

He was more than "not afforded his rights." He was murdered.

For coverage of the Chauvin trial...
In opening, prosecutors say that when an EMT who was a bystander approached to try & check George Floyd’s pulse & render aid, Chauvin refused her & pointed his mace at her.

It gets harder but in other ways it gets easier.

A US Senator has nothing to do with whether or not a state passes a minimum wage. Facts don’t matter to you much, do they Congressman?

Just to be clear, Derek Chauvin is on trial this week; George Floyd is not on trial. Different sources might try to mess with your head about this, but don’t forget - Derek Chauvin is on trial this week; George Floyd is not on trial.

#Bessemer6000 You’ve done such an incredible job and so many of us are wishing you well on this historic day.
#Bessemer6000, here’s what’s at stake: You’re currently “at-will" employees. But if you had a union, Amazon would’ve needed a “just cause” to fire you. Last yr, Amazon cancelled hazard pay while increasing hourly work. That would’ve never happened if you had a union! #MoralMonday

Well said. As someone who was once young, I can assure you that’s the truth.

No, that part of the bill could simply be taken out before it’s fun at all. It’s not like they have to make it worse before they can make it better..

Interesting facet of the American mind is that if you tell Americans they have a treasure in their hands they may or may not care. But if you tell them that treasure is being taken away, they’re just as likely to get crazed obsessed about protecting it. Some people should beware.
