Jeff Bezos could be a model of corporate ethics and responsibility if he wanted to be. But he chooses not to be. The company is monopolistic, anti-union and exploitative of its workers, while Bezos himself has $180B.

This, plus they are literally hiring off duty police to intimidate Amazon workers who are trying to unionize (plus other unionbusting tactics). ag.ny.gov/press-release/2021…

The United States is both a republic and a representative democracy. It’s like saying we have a roof and we have windows as well.

Kind of absurd. SCOTUS deemed money is free speech in 1976. Then the Citizens United decision in 2010.

Wait a minute. Tulsi endorsed Biden when she dropped out and I did not. I endorsed Bernie. Once it was Biden versus Trump, I absolutely supported Biden and would do so again in that situation.

Many things they do are life-saving and good, but as long as we have a profit based healthcare system we must be vigilantly on guard against predatory pharmaceutical efforts such as that which led to the opioid crisis.

Until we get the $ out of politics nothing will fundamentally change. From NRA to Big Oil, insurance companies to Big Pharma, chem & food companies and Big Ag to MIC, there's only one antidote in the meantime: a massive uprising in consciousness and activism among enough citizens

A common theme is behind almost every societal problem we have: Gigantic corporate power now wielding so much power in DC as to systematically sideline the safety & security not only of Americans but of people throughout the world. We need a critical mass of people to absorb that

Each year more people by far die of chronic diseases caused by a bad food system than have died of coronavirus, but we don't treat it as a national emergency. Why? Because chemical companies, food companies, and big agricultural companies make trillions of dollars off that system
