It's not "negative" to point out that the hour is too late for incremental measures. The Covid Relief bill was an immediate rescue plan, but nothing close to structural transformation. Without fundamental reform the rage that produced Trump will not be quelled & it will reemerge.

Among other things, what we need to learn from this is that experience within the American political system does not make one “qualified” to lead. Bush was a governor & started the Iraq war; Johnson was one of the most experienced politicians in history & started the Vietnam war.
