One day we will pass a law against crisis-profiteering. We will call it the Jeff Bezos law. Or maybe the Pfizer law, I’m not sure. google.com/amp/s/www.cbsnews…

And he is fighting the effort of his workers to unionize...
Bezos’ net worth grew by $2,378 every second of 2020. It takes a minimum wage worker 328 hours to make that much. Tax the rich. Raise the wage. Now.

Read Dr. James Doty “Into the Magic Shop.” Neurosurgeon’s take on it. You’ll love it.

There’s no competition here, there are complementary aspects of the human experience. We have both internal as well as external realities; neither need to be undervalued in order to serve the other. Attention to both is needed because both are part of who we are.

I think I’ve been subconsciously drawn to birds in the last few months because they’re symbols of transformation, rising above, mysterious flight, variety, resurrection & redemption. Not to mention such an incredible reminder of beauty at a time when the world had gotten so ugly.

Then but all means don’t visit here, because all you will find are clichés and platitudes!

“Love one another, walk humbly and do justice” works pretty well...

A new world will not arise from an old conversation. A solely material, mechanistic & rationalistic analysis of the world as it is, is an inadequate translator into what can be. The intelligence of the heart is as necessary for transformation as is the intelligence of the brain.

Just as a human being conceives, is pregnant, goes into labor & gives birth, so does a civilization. Our highest mission now is to conceive new possibilities for the human race - no war or poverty, healed earth etc - our imagination the womb from which will emerge a better world.

Asking for $15 an hour minimum wage hijr is eminently fair to everyone.

It should be much higher. When our economy was working for the majority of people, corporate taxes constituted 33% of the public treasury. Right now it’s 11%. Biden isn’t in that sense raising taxes, he is repealing unfair tax cuts.

If you're referring to Biden's tax plan, don't even. He's talking about increasing taxes on corporations - even then only going back to where they were before they were so obscenely lowered - and taxing personal wealth over $400,000. That's hardly hurting the "little guy."

Covid has been deeply stressful too, of course. But even that anxiety was compounded by the fact that he was so irresponsible & inept at dealing with it.

Millions living with collective PTSD from having had to spend 4 years at high level of opposition & resistance to a madman. Huge psychological transition now from co-resistors to co-creators. New phase of our lives from urgently staving off destruction to urgently aiding creation
