We had to be at a high pitch of opposition and resistance for four years. We had to be. But this is a different moment. I’m not avoiding being oppositional & I’m saying many things that are critical. But the Covid rollout has been good and his speech was sincere and empathetic.

He’s telling us the best way not to die, Tucker. As opposed to, say, the kind of president who encourages a lot of people not wearing masks to come together in a dense crowd and spread a disease so he can look adored.
