Let's be clear. Climate change is causing devastating harm in the U.S. and around the world. Not to pass the $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill, which has unprecedented spending to cut carbon emissions, would be grossly irresponsible. We must pass this bill and save the planet.
If Republicans were in charge and they were in this situation, they absolutely would get rid of the filibuster and pack the court. One party seems intent on undermining our democracy, and the other seems unwilling or unable to stop them.

One dumb reactive tweet at the beginning. Sorry. Mock "feminism" all you want. Failure to prioritize vulnerable women for evactuation was horrible. The way we exited showed as much disdain for the needs of the Afghan people as the way we stayed. Sorry I'm not with the groupthink.
