Even after the catastrophe in Afghanistan, or perhaps because of it, the military industrial complex is working to protect their profits. Unbelievable.
BREAKING: House GOP just quietly submitted an amendment to increase Pentagon spending by $25 BILLION.
That would bring our defense budget to $778 BILLION.
They want billions more for war even as we WITHDRAW FROM AFGHANISTAN.

If I didn’t have glasses or hearing aids my life and career would be seriously diminished. Bravo to Bernie for his compassionate insistence on this.
It is unacceptable to me that seniors in the richest country on earth cannot afford the hearing aids or the eyeglasses they need to hear and see their grandchildren.
