3/ Just knowing that, being aware of it at the depths we need to be aware of it, should inspire all of us to buy in a little less to the propaganda of officialdom. To do whatever we can on any given day to embrace the new and prepare for the day when all of this is going to flip.

2/…peace building differently, politics differently, pretty much everything differently. The problem is not that we don’t know how. The problem is institutional resistance on the part of a political and economic elite to any fundamental change in the way we’re doing things now.

1/ We don’t lack the geniuses or ideas or best practices that represent alternatives to the self-destructive ways we’re behaving now. We could do medicine differently, agriculture differently, education differently, economics differently, criminal justice differently…

The worst part about the corporate aristocracy that lords over this country is it builds profit centers on human suffering. From health ins. companies to Big Pharma to Big Food & Chem to gun manufacturers to Big Oil to military contractors, we have a system of pin-striped tyranny

Given that we were wrong & we lost in Vietnam, we were wrong & we lost in Iraq, and we were wrong & we lost in Afghanistan, what will it take to smash the illusion that an unholy alliance with the military industrial complex & a $780 billion defense budget is anything but a scam?

Ugh.
How long do we have left before the iPhone in your pocket begins quietly filing reports about encountering “extremist” political material, or about your presence at a "civil disturbance"? edwardsnowden.substack.com/p…

Disgusting. #MedicareForAll
Got a call from pharmacy saying my insurance (one of Florida's most-used insurance companies) will no longer cover my rescue inhaler Albuterol (one of most common asthma medications.) This is going to get people killed. This system has to be torn down, replaced with M4A.

Cruel.
The publisher of Entertainment Weekly, People and other magazines has seen its stock grow 200% in the last year. Its CEO was rewarded with $7.2 million. He then announced a $1,000 bonus to employees ... ... except for unionized employees, who got $0 nypost.com/2021/08/24/anger-…

Hugely important.
This budget resolution is historic: – Universal pre-K – Free community college – Paid leave – Medicare expansion – Climate action It's going to take all of us to get it past the spending hawks in the Senate and to Biden’s desk with all of its programs intact. Let’s get to work.

Or the fact that we lost half our bird species in the last two years. Or the fact that only 2% of the North American redwoods are left. The list goes on. Humanity has been such a predatory species.

I just love her.
People like Byron Brown paint me as someone Buffalonians should fear, but that’s only because he’s scared of our movement to ensure Buffalonians are happy, safe, healthy, and able to afford to not only survive, but thrive. That’s more of an indictment of his character than mine.
