Unity with tens of millions of Americans who desperately need help is more important than unity with those few who for their own purposes don’t want to help them.

These are the kinds of issues where the rubber meets the road. Do you want to take on systemic racism @JoeBiden ? Here’s your chance.#SmashTheStatusQuo politico.com/news/2021/01/21…

All the fervor with which we resisted Trump for the last four years should be extended to resist the greed, injustice and soullessness of the system that produced him to begin with.

You’re right, but with the current make up of SCOTUS it’s not reasonable to think we can overturn Citizens United anytime soon. HR1 being passed also as a Senate bill will help, and ultimately we need a constitutional amendment establishing public funding for federal campaigns.

This is the absolute truth. And being bold will require doing more than just rescuing people from immediate economic despair; it will require fundamentally altering the system so it’s no longer rigged against them.
In 1994, Democrats in power lost big because they were not bold. In 2010, it happened again. If we do not take aggressive action NOW to protect working families, it will happen in 2022.
