We won’t end violence in America until we choose to become non-violent. That’s a choice we’ve assiduously avoided, if not intentionally then subconsciously. Any day not devoted to peace is a day that’s devoted to war. A proposal for a US Dept of Peace: bit.ly/3qwPbWV

It’s the domestic component that matters most. And there’s nothing “New Age bullshit” about it. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Come on, Karl...let’s have just a tiny bit of optimism? What’s happening now might be the bottoming out we need to make America think again.

The State Department works internationally; the Peace Department would have a domestic as well as an international component. The war we’re dealing with now, remember, is a domestic one. The violence we’re dealing with is on the streets of America.

A mass psychosis will not be dismantled through external means alone. It will be dismantled when a more compelling future is presented to its adherents. Millions of people were ideologically captured by psychotic forces that found easy prey among them; now it’s our job to ask why

Of course not! She impeached; it’s Mitch and Mike who refused to take it from there.

By allowing him to remain in office til Wednesday at noon, they’re giving him the chance to pre-pardon Horn Man Chansley and any others involved in the capitol riot - to then become celebrities and leaders of their insurrectionist movement. How extraordinarily irresponsible.

2/ A politics that treats symptoms but not cause is inadequate to the times in which we live. A politics stuck in a worldly container but blind to the inner dimensions of life is inadequate to the times in which we live. The politics of the past will literally deny us the future.

1/There are now more troops in DC for the inauguration than there are troops in Afghanistan & Iraq and for the first time our “transition of power” is anything but peaceful. The only way the situation will change on any fundamental level is if we’re open to a political awakening.

Absolutely it would! It would also improve the economy because it would enable people to become their creative and productive best, which is where money comes from.

I’m the same person with the same values & politics as I was 5, 15 or 35 years ago. What’s “still true” that you think you have to resolve? If you think I’m “anti-science, anti-medicine, or told AIDS patients not to take their medicine,” I assure you such things were never true.
