The star of Christmas is the Light of Love inside ourselves, pointing to the possibility of a better world for everyone. It illumines the path to the rebirth of hope & makes way for miraculous breakthroughs.Seeing that Light and following that Light is the salvation of the world.
The worst tragedy isn’t just their denying the $2k one-time stimulus: even that was little more than the thinnest lifeline for so many at this point. In a sane country it would be $2k every month retroactively to when the pandemic started, plus $2k/mo. going forward until it ends
On the day that celebrates the birth of Jesus, in a country that is primarily Christian and with a Congress made up primarily of Christians, our government is guided by principles as far from “Love one another” as it is possible to get.
There are so many folks currently in prison who spend decades trying to do everything right. Not getting in trouble, taking every class available, being a mentor to others, just for a chance to be *considered* for clemency. For a chance to go home. I'm thinking of them right now.
