It’s simultaneously reasonable that someone voted for Biden in the election, yet still stands firm in support of his appointing administrative officials who align with the traditional values of the Democratic Party: people before corporations. More than reasonable. Imperative.

You’re proving my point. Naming preventative measures that boost the immune system and the make the body more resistant to viruses “voodoo,” is what’s voodoo.

I'm hopeful for developing a vaccine, medicine, PPE etc. as much as anyone but it makes me uncomfortable how resistant officialdom is to even discussing boosting the immune system through vitamins etc. Edging out anything but pharmaceutical formulation is wrong-minded & obsolete

The difference between humanity and caterpillars is that we have free will. We’ll be whatever we individually and collectively decide to be.

No, meditating is just about the most important thing. But it can't be the only thing.

Caterpillars disintegrate into a soup of "imaginal cells" out of which emerges a butterfly. That's where the world is now. One way of being is disintegrating; people are imagining new ways of doing & thinking about things, relating to self and others. It won't stay soup for long.

NO! We have simply got to say no.
NEW: @RaytheonTech officials are said to be excited by the prospect of a board member becoming BIDEN's defense secretary. LLOYD J. AUSTIN III owned $500k+ of RAYTHEON stock as of Oct, & was paid $1.4M in stock & other compensation by a predecessor company nytimes.com/2020/12/08/us/po…

But you can get started, get the experience, get in the game.

Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut stands up to say the right things and ask the right questions about Biden’s pick for DOD. We all should. It’s long past time.

It was not a take over. It was a democratic election, certified in state after state by Republican as well as Democratic election officials.

To young progressive activists working so hard to try to change things, please consider running for office. Local level. Just get started. Electoral politics has got to be part of the change & if it’s not part of the good change it will be part of the bad. Think about it please?

I realize that, but we had to break the free fall represented by a neofascist in the WH. At least that’s how a lot of us felt. I don’t regret voting for Biden and I’m very glad he won. I just feel we have to yell like hell about things like this.
