The very fact that he is making that statement is code for “Don’t worry guys,nothing is going to fundamentally change.” It’s a statement that corporate Democrats are in full charge. For the last 40 years, CEOs have been plenty listened to - at the expense of way too many others.

The deficits we need to be worried about are the deficit of food, the deficit of healthcare, the deficit of rent money, the deficit of education and the deficit of hope.
