Yes they do. It’s their PR move and we must call them out.

What’s love in politics? When you see a person in need you help them. When you see someone hungry you feed them. When someone is homeless you house them. When you see a child you educate her. When you’ve made a mistake you atone & make amends. Where there’s conflict you sow peace

Material sophisticates are now articulating what many have intuited: our civilization on a trajectory to terminal collapse. Now it’s time for the spiritual listening that happens when we realize we don’t have all the answers. Love is the miraculous key to a spontaneous remission.

When people are hungry and about to get kicked out of their homes, direct cash relief is not “of little benefit.”

We have spent over 4 trillion already.

The best route to opening up the economy would be to pay people #directcashrelief so they can pay their bills and have the money to stay home. That will give us the time we need to get the virus under control and then everything will be safe to re-open.

We’ve spent $4T already on Covid relief yet only 1/5 of that went to individuals. Big companies received PPP who weren’t even required to use it to save employee’s jobs. And many didn’t. #DirectCashRelief

Imagine what America would be like now if every adult knew they’d be getting $2k/mo (retroactively to when the pandemic began) & $1k for every child. Imagine how much panic, suicidal despair, domestic conflict & hunger would fall away. And be clear: we have the money to do that.
