There was no “positive thinking crap.” There were prayer groups, free therapy, free food, support groups, holding peoples hands when they were scared, being with people when they were lonely. Me and many others did that, and many were there who will attest to it. #StopTheSmear

Which “positive thinking crap?” You acknowledged Project Angel Food. Sat with hundreds of men on their deathbeds holding their hands while they vomited onto me, gave hundreds of thousands $ raised millions of dollars for AIDS - do you think that was just “positive thinking?”

No one should have to “stay in your lane” when it comes to participating in politics, and it’s so sad to hear woman say that. We’ve been told to stay in our lane for thousands of years.

But are you suggesting that if Trump had a second term it would be better??

This picture is hilarious on so many levels, including the fact that a lot of those men would be enjoying themselves.

No one’s opinion matters more to me than yours does, Howie. I’ll be very interested to see where you come down on this in the coming months.

Absolutely I encouraged people to vote for Biden and I’m glad I did; we needed to break the freefall of a neofascist in the White House. But now we’ve done that and it’s time to get on to step two.

But if we don’t even ask the question then we’re stuck in this codependent loop with the Democratic Party. And THAT has had catastrophic results already.

Is the best way to push Biden in a less corporatist & more humanitarian direction to stay within the Democratic Party in exchange for perceived (or imaginary) access, or to form another party that could actually threaten the citadels? Not saying I know the answer; I’m just asking

Why does the media talk so much more about the coronavirus than about the food lines, the evictions, the social consequences of all that despair? There are many ways to ruin a life and damage a nation.

No, the military industrial defense contractors & not the military itself. Our defense budget is hundreds of billions of dollars above what the military says they need.

I never said we don’t have real enemies. But if anyone thinks all those billions are going to train and help soldiers then they’re delusional.

Rescuing the tens of millions of people who can’t afford food or rent right now should be an equally important shared goal.

Voting is how WE fix it. Voting is what gave us the presidents who gave us the conservative Supreme Court justices who gave us the Citizens United decision. Voting was the conduit that made it this bad and voting will be the conduit for fixing it.
