AND it would improve our economy, not break it.

I was the first presidential candidate to make reparations a pillar of my campaign. Darrity coached me; Conyers was my friend. I brought it up on the debate stage & pushed it throughout. Have spoken about it for 20 yrs & still do. marianne2020.com/issues/the-…

I assume that’s propaganda you’ve been fed. But visit Europe someday and see what illusions you’ve been sold. We’re no longer the country “making all the great products.” Our trains, infrastructure, schools, health delivery, food supply, so much more is now inferior to others.

Keep speaking the truth. Just keep speaking the truth. Do not stop. Just keep talking.

#Medicare4All, #TuitionFree are seen as middle-of-the-road policies in most advanced societies - ones doing a whole lot better than ours. Calling them "far left" is just a PR strategy on the part of those resisting the power share that's at the heart of a just society.

And it's not new for him. He's been calling unfettered global capitalism a form of terrorism for a long time. He's on it.

Exercising the power of your citizenship to express your grievances is not an example of “eating each other.” And being willing to toe the line with an unjust status quo is not some positive trait.

Institutional resistance to chance is enormous.@IlhanMN and @AOC and others standing strong this early to say NO to the appointments of Rahm Emanuel and Bruce Reed are powerful statements of much needed change in the air. Bravo. dailyposter.com/p/new-poll-m…

And the better it gets. Both/and. Either way, I think our learning more about it is key to creating a better future.

Every person responsible for these actions should be held fully accountable by the incoming DOJ. Every one of them. Our society can’t take a stand against child abuse yet be OK with it if perpetrated by our government. State sponsored crime is still crime. cnn.com/2020/11/24/politics/…

One in six American families are dealing with food insecurity today. If we do anything at all to help them have food to eat, our own will taste much better today. Www.feedingamerica.org

I heard him give a speech once that was the most amazing application of religious principle to social justice that I’ve ever heard. I felt like I was in the presence of pure genius.

People having the freedom to worship should not mean the freedom to create super spreader events. And worship is not about the physical house of worship; it’s communion in our hearts with God. You can’t knowingly risk the lives of others and sincerely worship God at the same time

Great spiritual leaders transcend their particular religion and help guide the world. The Dalai Lama, Rev. Barber and Pope Francis are all examples. This article by the Pope today is particularly beautiful. nytimes.com/2020/11/26/opini…
