I agree with that!! I've been saying it, making the point myself. But I don't feel like his cabinet picks display a total closed ear to the things we've been saying & will continue to say. Maybe I'm wearing rose-colored glasses but I don't think so. These aren't heartless people.

Okay, I admit I'd edit the word "please" and change it to "hear." I've answered with specifics elsewhere. This is Joe Biden we're talking about, so I don't think we could have expected a full on leftist cabinet. But sorry, I don't think these picks are unmitigated disasters.

Thank you. I respect yours as well. I may just be so grateful mature adults are going to be in charge again that I'm underestimating neoliberal undertow. I hope not. We'll know very soon. But even with Yellen - he could have gone full on Wall St and he didn't. She has a heart.

I don’t quite see it that way, obviously. But if that’s what it turns out to be then I’ll be yelling as loud as the next person. Right now I feel the picks could be so much worse.
