Because of millions of $ in campaign contributions from military contractors who is turn make billions of $ on war. Healthcare & education is a better return on the investment, but until people rise up & demand change the military industrial complex will continue to run the show

Biden’s picks so far show he’s at least trying to please the left as well as the center. But it’s *because* the left is refusing to be quiet that he realizes he has to! Progressives laying claim to their views and demanding that they be heard is not negativity; it’s democracy.
