Which would not happen, because people would have so much more money to spend that it would stimulate the economy and so much more happiness and energy that it would stimulate their creativity and productivity.

4/ Do you think they would reject you, or do you think they would vote for you? Time and bandwidth now to spend with their families, an absence of chronic economic despair, and the space to live the lives they most want to live. How can it be bad politics to treat people well?

2/ Then imagine those same people being told that because we passed Medicare4All, they will no longer have out-of-pocket healthcare expenses.

1/ I don’t understand how establishment Democrats can fail to realize how much appreciation and loyalty would be created by 45 million people having their college loan debts canceled.

We’re going to hold you to this, Joe.

But I didn’t see it that way. I don’t think an adult appraisal of a situation is gloom and doom. The Biden team is making decisions right now that will determine how all this unfolds, and I think their hearing a variety of viewpoints is important.

I’m not assuming he’ll drop all sanctions on Iran; I was referring specifically to the “maximum pressure” campaign Pompeo described. I’m not naive about the problems that concern you but I don’t want to have a blanket negative attitude about everything they do. I want to be open.

No he won’t. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Biden will work to get us back in the Iran deal. Any conversation that’s just broad brush, with no nuance or specificity about particular issues, is old and tired to me. My tweet was about Iran and I stand by it.

No, YOU were the dangerous choice; fortunately the American people have chosen again. “Maximum pressure” meant sanctions even on strictly humanitarian needs & nothing more dangerous than the greater amount of enriched plutonium your policy paved the way for. JB will fix your mess
The Maximum Pressure campaign against the Iranian regime continues to be effective. It deprives the regime of funds to carry out its malign activities. Reducing that pressure is a dangerous choice, bound to weaken new regional partnerships for peace and strengthen the regime.
