“My party” did not do that.

You know nothing about my work. Maybe sit this one out.

Yes. But mocking other peoples conceptualization of God is strategically damaging. It’s an appropriate theological argument but not an appropriate political one.

There is no evidence of that whatsoever. Trump’s law suits contending it is so are being thrown out as frivolous one after another by judges all over the country. Trump’s own DHS has even said it’s the most secure election in history. google.com/amp/s/www.busines…

My Trump supporting friend told me “we’re not going to just take this lying down,” they’ll “resist” the progressive new president. I asked her what it is about Biden she thinks is progressive & whether maybe she wants to see what he does she would want to resist before resisting?

Ex-presidents have a tendency to become all wise and philosophical about things. It’s when they’re in office that they tend to create and perpetuate problems they get to be all sanguine about years later.

This is a good moment to say to the Good, the True and the Beautiful - by whatever name you call it - that you are more than willing for all that you have and all that you are to be placed in love’s service. Or, you can say “God use me.” Whatever works for you.

The idea of God being offended doesn’t mean as in taking personal offense. But it means as in something going so against the ways of nature that it causes a reaction. And I don’t think we should mock it. It’s at least as reasonable as “Mueller’s gonna get him” turned out to be.

Unless you’re a mature adult.

Those who should’ve stopped this have had 4 years to do so but their legalistic pseudo -sophistication kept them in a constant state of inept “We’ve got this.” We’re now one firing of the Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff away from the greatest danger our republic has ever seen.

There’s a difference between the ravings of a malignant narcissist and the techniques of a dictator. Sometimes they’re the same and sometimes not, but focusing on the first can make you underestimate the dangers of the second.

We live in a representative democracy that is very threatened at the moment, and the way to protect it is not just by simply pointing out its flaws.

That’s what’s so disturbing.

Responses to this tweet demonstrate the level on which Trump’s disinformation campaign has been successful. He has delegitimized the most basic element in a democracy: that whoever gets the most votes wins. Many of his followers just cannot believe that if he lost he lost fairly.

Being called an idiot by a Q believer is almost a compliment.
