I heard Mara Liasson on NPR say today, “The Left will just have to be patient and take what they can.” Really???? It’s never a “Big Oil, or military industrial contractors, or Big Pharma etc will just have to be careful and take what they can.” We have to speak up early and loud.

Preferring a neoliberal to a fascist doesn’t mean you’re stupid, politically unsophisticated, you just don’t get it or that you turned out to be a brunch goer after all. It doesn’t mean you don’t realize how the former helps create the latter. It just means you wanted Trump gone.

Over 200,000 have died of Covid, many more than if he’d responded responsibly. Millions are desperate in the absence of direct cash relief. And thousands of parents & children will never recover from the trauma of separation. No it is not an overstatement to refer to his cruelty.
