I certainly understand that. Same with WW2. I never said otherwise.

Wait. What did I do wrong? I prefer ballots to bullets so I’m… like, what...? I’m trying to figure this out.

When they gutted it it in ‘13 J. Roberts argued it was safe to do because people were different now. In her dissenting opinion RBG argued it had been raining, we built a strong umbrella & by poking holes in the umbrella people would start getting wet again. As usual she was right
Your reminder that Georgia closed 214 polling places after the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act.

He could easily afford it.

It has looked that way all along. Even at the time, Trump called it “retribution.”

As usual, this is the one who is saying it like it is. Thank you Ralph…
Why aren't Democrats probing Barrett re: her mentor Scalia's notorious decision in Bush v. Gore that selected Bush as president in 2000? This was such a judicial coup d'etat that every time Scalia was asked about it in visits to law schools he would merely shout "get over it." -R

There’s a scheme being run on the American people, and the American people ought to understand what’s really going on. #WhatsAtStake nbcnews.com/think/opinion/am…

I agree.
If we treated COVID-19 relief like we treat our military budget, we would have already passed the most comprehensive plan possible with bipartisan support and relieved suffering for millions of people.

I think some of our politicians are really wonderful people doing wonderful things.

I think there’s a way to run a campaign that minimizes the impact of their mischaracterizations. I failed to do that. I also think people wake up over time & can see thru things they didn’t see thru before. In any case, there’s no option for me but to tell the truth as I see it.

I don’t have a “strategy.” I just try to tell the truth as I see it as best I can. Politicians “strategizing” what to say seems to me to be the problem, not the solution. And if media and political pundits would get out of the way I think voters appreciate it.

The next 20 days are among the most important in American history. Think deeply about that and act accordingly.

I see a lot of people focused on solutions and outcomes, and right now the part of the solution that’s most important is that we vote.

I signed up to do some phone banking the other day and I admit I wasn’t very good at it. Lol But I’m gonna keep trying! Signed up again today. Think of voting as the minimum of what you’re going to do, whether for a down ballot candidate or for the presidential. Let’s GO!!!!!
