Trump could have used the Defense Production Act at the very beginning to procure PPE, masks, ventilators etc but he didn’t want to override the free market even in an emergency. Governors and doctors and hospitals were begging. First responders and others died because of it.

Obscene.
Big Pharma company Gilead is charging $3,000 for a coronavirus drug that costs them less than $10 to produce. If that’s not looting, I don’t know what is.

We can’t know. But we can try our best.

During the Civil War hundreds of thousands of people gave their lives to make it better. Too many of the people who say they’re at their wits’ end now have never truly struggled to make the changes that other generations made. We need to toughen up, I think. We have a lot to do.

First, vote. Second, next time around be way more awake during the primaries.

I don’t see it that way at all.

No I am not naïve. But I know there was a time when people took it more seriously than they do now that it’s supposed to be. 600,000 people died in the Civil War; it’s not like there weren’t some very courageous people trying to make it so. We’re not the first generation to care.

“A government of the people, by the people and for the people has become a government of a few of the people, by a few of the people and for a few of the people… It’s time for the people to step in.”

Yes I’ll elaborate. The Soviet Union ended, and Hayes’ comment was about behavior that reminded him of the Soviets. I remember it and I agree with him.

We should expect more from candidates than just a "D" next to their name. These are progressive House & Senate candidates who made it through their primaries & will if elected create fundamental change. Let’s help them make it to the finish line!! bit.ly/2FFYK09

And that’s how many people see you. Fell right into their pocket. Will have to agree to disagree on this one.

You think admitting that means someone then has some higher ground justification for sitting out the election? That presupposes that anyone who is voting is basically too stupid to realize what’s up. And that’s not true at all.

This is our democracy we’re talking about here. His personal mannerisms are a political weapon and it’s OK to call that out.

We’ve got to go with what we have right now. Let’s support her in getting it right.

My hope for @SenKamalaHarris tonight is that she goes on the offense from the first moment and never ever ever lets up. She shouldn’t give him even one chance to pull off all that wily unctuousness with which he lies so easily for his boss.
