The states could do it. They’ll come up with all kinds of excuses but it absolutely could be done.

It’s delusional to think that 16-year-old kids don’t have school shootings in the back of their minds every single day. We created that craziness and they should have a right to do everything possible to end it.

Because the system has an institutional resistance to giving that much power to that many people.

Exactly!! When they want to, they can do it…

The average 16-year-old has a greater risk of being gunned down by a fire arm at school than the average 45-year-old has a risk of being gunned down at work. I think they should have a say in who makes policies related to that & to some other things that will affect their future

The two are not connected, but actually they already do. Military recruiters do regular presentations at Americas high schools.

Learn some history. Alluding to something being “Soviet” is very different than alluding to what Russia is doing today.

16 and 17-year-olds have a lot more at stake in our environmental, gun, educational policies etc then do those of us who are older. They should have a say in the policies that affect those critical areas of their lives .

The entire voter registration phenomenon is unnecessary; every American citizen should just be automatically registered on their 18th birthday (and we should lower the voting age).

I really appreciate this woman. God bless all the nurses and doctors and others like them who are literally saving our lives as we go through this.
