So few spoke up against this. We treat America’s children as though they’re expendable.
Trump spent months pressuring schools to re-open without adequate funding & against the recommendations of local health experts. Now we see the consequences, as children are getting COVID-19 & spreading it in the community. This could have been avoided. abcnews.go.com/Health/resear…

It doesn’t benefit anyone that the US government is so removed from the reality of millions of Americans. It doesn’t serve us and it doesn’t serve them
400-500+ members of Congress regularly travel from every corner of the country to DC & back. Each time we convene carries with it the potential of a superspreader event. It’s absolutely unacceptable that there is no regular temp-taking, testing, or contact tracing protocol.

In addition to being so insulting (the only crystal I have is my grandmother's Waterford), you obviously have no idea how this works. Someone who is not asked to be a surrogate can't just go out and be a surrogate. On every platform I have, I encourage everyone to vote for Biden.

I would assume they do though, and I assume we do as well.

It’s unbelievable how Bernie continues to show up. He’s a genuinely great human being. seattletimes.com/nation-worl…

Yes yes yes yes yes.
Potentially important moment--Biden bars fossil fuel execs, board members from his administration. This could help further break the stranglehold of the natural gas industry on Dem politics eenews.net/eedaily/stories/1…

There is no comparison between the complete gutting of the clean air & water act, in fact complete demolition of most environmental regulations represented by the Trump administration - versus what Joe Biden would do at the EPA. That’s how.

From dangerous pesticides to toxins in food & water to neglect of climate change, shifting from an economic to a humanitarian bottom line - from serving short-term corporate profitabilit to serving the needs of people and planet - is the only survivable option for the human race.

This is part of a systemic neglect of the needs of America’s children. It’s not just sad; it is a fundamental injustice. Unless a child has the good fortune of having been born to well-to-do parents – & the vast majority of them are not – then their material needs are underserved
Call me a radical lefty, but I can’t accept a system that spends $115,000,000,000 a year on police but forces 94% of public school teachers to spend their own money on school supplies.

I did not attack her for her faith. I have respect for the Catholic religion. Aspects of the sect to which she belongs, however, bring up legitimate questions as to her support of women’s rights, etc.

All over the country there are government officials doing everything they can to fight off efforts at voter suppression and intimidation. Support and gratitude.

They’re serious and we need to be too. They’re only doing this because they know the race is on in Texas. Biden could actually win it. Act now! Send special help to @JulieOliverTX , @SiegelForTexas , @donnaimamTX.
