I’ve used up every word in the thesaurus that matches “outrageous,” so I’ve come up with “bigger than Pearl Harbor.” A small mafia crime family (and their friends, helpers and enablers) are perpetrating a direct assault on our democracy.
Stark language in Don Jr.’s new “defend your ballot” ad: “We need every able-bodied man and woman to join Army for Trump’s election security operation...we need you to help us watch them”

Biden is not a fascist. You can say it all you want to but he is not a fascist. Words matter and the sloppiness with which people use that word today is absurd.

A political opponent is not a criminal unless convicted of a crime.

This is not the time to pretend, people-please, or concoct absurd justifications for letting him back in.

Throwing gasoline on it is such an odd way of putting out a fire.

Remember those chants of “Lock her up! Lock her up!”? That is what they will start to do. They’ll start arresting political opponents on literally trumped up charges. Barr will figure all that out. Reporters, political opponents, Blacks, Jews, all the “usual suspects.”#VoteBiden

Then look around you. Read that article and many like it. Check the facts. The fact that our parents and grandparents went through it is all the more reason we should care about what people are going through today,

During the Great Depression, this kind of mass despair was met by Franklin Delano Roosevelt and the moral enormity of the New Deal. Today it is met with the most cruel and callous disregard.

It is NOT the job of law-enforcement officers to “punish evildoers.” To find them and arrest them, perhaps. But it is the job of our legal system whether or not to punish them and how. Using the word God to trash the US Constitution is preposterous politically and theologically.

You think all women are going to stop having abortions just because Roe v. Wade is overturned? That’s like saying you think people never smoke marijuana because it’s illegal. It will create a black market and an entire criminal enterprise around abortion, as any prohibition does.

They sure as hell did, and your saying otherwise does not make it so. Google the word “coat hanger” sometime...

If Republicans succeed in putting a justice on SCOTUS who allows them to repeal Roe v. Wade, it will not stop abortions in America. Rich women will continue to have safe ones, and poor women will go back to the days of back alley abortions where many were harmed and many died.
