In personal healing, it’s understood a dysfunction has to be named in order to be healed. It has to be admitted & acknowledged. But w/ social & political healing some say it’s “negative” or “divisive” to be radically honest. Be honest anyway. Suppressing truth suppresses healing.

3/ Civil rights legislation dismantled segregation, but it couldn’t dismantle racism. That is an internal process. It is something we ourselves need to do. With prayer, meditation and in a spirit of real contrition, we need to seek the purification of our nation’s soul.

No, blocking a car is not “detaining someone against their will.” And we’re a nation of laws. No individual can just decide they’re pissed about something & and so deadly force against the person who angered them is justified
