So glad you’re going to Congress, @JamaalBowmanNY . Please lay it down there the way you’re laying it down here.
After 6 months, only one of the officers who invaded Breonna Taylor’s home and shot and killed her in her sleep will finally face criminal charges. Not for murdering Breonna -- for putting her neighbors in danger in the process.

Murder is not part of their job. Breonna Taylor had nothing to do with those drugs.

One more thing. NRA types tell us Americans need to have guns to protect themselves. All of a sudden someone is knocking your door down; police say they said they were coming in but neighbors didn’t hear that. For a white person, wouldn’t shooting be called protecting your home?

Perhaps you’re thinking of her ex-boyfriend. They knew who he was and they knew where he was. None of that had anything to do with Breonna Taylor.

Perhaps she should quit right now and tell Americans the truth. cnn.com/2020/09/23/politics/…

Yes the AG was a Black man and I’m sure he tried. But the Grand Jury is who made the decision.

Decision handed down by the Grand Jury is to charge one of the officers in the Breonna Taylor case with 3 counts of "first-degree wanton endangerment." It's nothing close to full accountability and a tragic indictment of a justice system doing little more than throwing us a bone.

In which case it’s all over. And what will occur with then is too horrible to even contemplate. Never in American history has a generation been more tested to show up to defend our freedom. November 3, 2020 will be remembered one way or the other for as long as our republic lasts
Republican sources tell @bartongellman the Trump campaign "is discussing contingency plans to bypass election results and appoint loyal electors in battleground states where Republicans hold the legislative majority." theatlantic.com/magazine/arc…

The closure of rural hospitals is a huge issue around the country, and politicians getting away with doing nothing about it is unacceptable. Hats off to @harrisonjaime for making it an issue. I hope he wins.
When a rural hospital closes, the nearest emergency room might go from being 15 minutes away to 45 minutes. That could be a death sentence. We've had 4 of these hospitals close in SC in the past decade and @LindseyGrahamSC hasn't done a thing about it. npr.org/sections/health-shot…

Bravo to Costco on this one. Sometimes corporate responsibility and market pressure align, which is a very good thing.

I hope Britain does not extradite #JulianAssange. I do not see his receiving a fair trial here; h’d receive whatever punishment would be sure to create the most chilling effect on press freedom in the United States.
