You’re right. What does it matter if children are endangered. How hysterical of me.

First we sent children back to school without any guarantee of their safety or serious resources given to procuring it. Then, so as not to hold itself accountable, the govt isn’t even doing a nationwide monitoring of cases. Sadly this is typical of how America treats its children
Thousands of coronavirus cases have already been linked to U.S. schools. But more than a month after the first school districts welcomed students back for in-person instruction, it’s nearly impossible to tally a precise figure. Here's why. nyti.ms/2FIW5Xu

In Charleston SC, attorney Ben Pogue running for a DA seat on justice reform & racial equity. National protests turned up the volume of #BLM activism that’s been building there for years. Pushing Justice Reform & Racial equity in the south is not the norm. Support @votebenpogue!

Odd how some people have a problem with an adult conversation. Is every sentence we say to each other supposed to be, "I agree with you, darling?" Good friends don't have to always see eye to eye on everything. That's how we learn from each other.

That's not buying votes, Alana. It's paying off debts that shouldn't have been there to begin with. Those debts were created in an effort to suppress the votes of convicted felons. Once people have paid their debt to society, they should be permitted to vote. xo

Thank you, Mrs. McCain. Thank you.
My husband John lived by a code: country first. We are Republicans, yes, but Americans foremost. There's only one candidate in this race who stands up for our values as a nation, and that is @JoeBiden.

Right in front of our eyes.
This is very bad. Donald Trump Jr. is now telling supporters that millions of mail ballots *will inevitably* be fraudulent, as part of a plot to "steal the election." Let's be clear: This is an effort to create cover for mass voter suppression. New piece: washingtonpost.com/opinions/…

Yep.
When SCOTUS takes away my right to marry and my reproductive freedoms, I’m going to be so glad Democrats like Feinstein clung to procedure, decorum, and the almighty differentiation between House and Senate.

JUST IN: The Pentagon reportedly redirected most of its $1 billion in pandemic funding to defense contractors — who exchanged the money for jet engine parts, body armor and other military supplies. hill.cm/JUmqnMA

Our modern economy was created when women had no voice in the public sphere. Children were seen as having no economic value & raising them was seen as “woman’s work.” We have a voice now though and we need to use it. Raising a child is not just woman’s work; it’s society’s work.

We know things about brain formation in the first eight years of life that were never understood before. Providing greatly expanded educational and cultural opportunities for children is the single greatest power we have to create an abundant and survivable future.

If it were a women’s choir would you say there should be men in it? If they were a boys choir would you say there should be girls in it? The message of the song is a Black American message and I for one think it’s glorious indeed.
