How many people complaining now about neoliberalism did absolutely nothing during the Obama years to complain or try to change things? I think it would be different this time.

Perhaps want to read up on some things. If Biden is president, you’re not going to be thrown in jail for googling “Antifa.” If Trump and Barr are still in office, I’m not sure.

Again, it has laid the foundation for it. Yes. But with a neoliberal president we will have four years to try to steer the ship in another direction. With Trump as president, people don’t seem to realize the level on which our options will be shut down. There will be no chance.

If I didn’t see the evil you’re naming I would not have spent an entire year of my life taking on the most vile mockery for saying exactly what you’re saying and not being heard, even by those now saying it! But my point remains. And I do march.

I don’t disagree, but we still need to give ourselves the opportunity to replace them. If Trump wins, the already frayed machinery of democracy will be essentially demolished. Our chance to stop that is now.

It did, I agree with that. But let’s give ourselves four years to fix it as opposed to just giving in to fascism now.
