And the other way is the hard work of political activism. I’ve run for office twice. I know how corrupt it is. I am hardly naïve about that! But I also know that far too many people don’t participate and have made it way too easy for the corporatists to gain control.

What is the fighting you think is possible that would not bring down the entire force of militarized law enforcement in the US, causing immeasurable horror and suffering only to fortify the grip of neofascists on our govt? There is another way.

MLK Junior said there are two kinds of peace, negative peace and positive peace. Negative peace is where there’s no outer violence yet there’s an underlying tension and anxiety. Positive please can only be predicated on brotherhood and justice.
