Peaceful action is also direct action.

When systemic violence is meant by violence, it will only multiply that slaughter and persecution. The systemic violence is held in place by a political system that’s entrenched, yet possible to change if enough of us show up to change it.

The end is inherent in the means. Everything we do is infused with the consciousness with which we do it. Violence will only create more violence. Only peace will create more peace.

That’s historically inaccurate. The non-violent Indian independence movement ended with the British leaving India, and the civil rights movement ended with civil rights legislation dismantling segregation and passing the Voting Rights Act.

A violent revolution in this country would definitely end with fascism.

They won’t have to attack us. They’ll just find a way to prove him wrong, that’s all.

Yeah, just like we were in Iraq.

No, he did not procure the equipment that our hospitals needed. He did not invoke the Defense Production Act to have the equipment manufactured, because it would have disturbed the “free market.” And thousands have died because of it.

Iran is going to take out all the stops to prove what Pence said wrong. He just put a target on the back of Americans.

It’s insane.
As a doctor it is especially distressing to see the @CDCgov and @CDCDirector corrupted by the politics of @realDonaldTrump. They changed the testing guidelines to encourage less testing due to pressure for the Trump administration. We need more testing to safely get America open.

May he rest in peace. I can’t imagine the pain of those who loved and love him. I don’t know what kind of life he lived but he died a hero’s death.

Absolutely.
The Susan B. Anthony Museum has rejected President Trump's pardon of Anthony. The museum's director said the best way to honor Anthony would be to take a clear stance against voter suppression — and to advocate for human rights for all. trib.al/0wCdGD6

First of all, there is no proof they were “destroying property.” And secondly, destroying property is not grounds for murder!!!!! When did property become more sacred to us than human life?

2/ I say this because Trump and his minions are already engaged in a misinformation campaign today, confusing the issue in such away as to suggest that the victims were in fact the criminals. Every time they tell a lie, commit to telling the truth at least twice.

1/ I can’t imagine that anyone reading this needs to be told, but just to be clear: what happened in Kenosha last night was not about “violent protesters.” It was violence - murder, in fact - committed AGAINST protesters by a violent militia member.
