What Republicans and some Democrats call “far left” refers to policies (free healthcare, etc) that in most European countries are considered mainstream and moderate. In those countries, our slavish devotion to trickle down economics is what would be considered extreme.

What are you saying?? We shouldn’t try?? It’s never been perfect but that’s not a reason not to try, and at points where it has and does work it’s the source of our greatest creativity and good.

Night and day are equal, yin and yang are equal, masculine and feminine are equal, brute force and soul force are equal. We’re so unbalanced now, that we need a lot of soul force to bring things back into harmony.

I heard Trump say on a Fox interview last night that he’s done more for Black people than any president since Lincoln, and that actually he has probably done more. 🤦🏻‍♀️ With that, I go back to bed.

That video of George Floyd’s murder made all the difference in the world. No one could see it and remain in denial about what’s going on. But I respect everyone’s take on this and people should do what they feel led to do.

A climate change denier in the WH and ex-chemical company lobbyist as head of the EPA is the last thing we need.
Shocking. The level of ice loss revealed by these scientists matches the worst-case-scenario predictions outlined by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). #ClimateEmergency act.gp/2EuoPlA

It is the furthest thing from b.s. to recognize that taking better care of the needs of our children & communities would radically reduce violent crime over the next 10 years.

I think a lot of people are afraid to give themselves permission to say what they actually believe. That’s why women have to start speaking up more, by the way. Not mimicking the language of men, but speaking the language of our own hearts. And supporting each other when we do.

People used to look to us for inspiration; now we look to them. The way things are going we just might need that inspiration sooner rather than later.
Police: „Dear citizens, this is an unauthorized mass meeting...“ But people dont care, even the street which leads to the square is PACKED.

We need to evolve from brute force to soul force in order to save the world.

To me, “reform” and “re-creating” are very different. But tell me the language you think we should be using that at this point will move the needle forward.

But we have to have a conversation about process, not just goals. I know most Presidential Commissions are just put on the shelf and ultimately mean nothing. But that’s why I said “it must be actionable.”
